Visit the Garden

Plan your visit

The Botanic Garden is open for those who are able to visit safely. To visit the Garden we recommend booking your time slot in advance to guarantee a place, as there are limited tickets available for each time slot. Please be aware that some of our Glasshouses and the Herbarium Room will remain closed during the pandemic.

Glasshouses closed

Please be aware that the Glasshouses will be closed from Wednesday 21st October for annual maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
You can explore the Glasshouses virtually with our virtual visit.

Are you a Friend, Annual Pass holder, University of Oxford or Oxford Brookes University student or staff member, registered disabled or a carer?

You will not need to book a time slot for your visit. We have allocated a number of tickets per 30 minute entry slot for you, but please ensure you bring your valid membership card (or email confirmation), student or staff ID with you. You will not be able to enter without proof of status. Find out more on our FAQs page
