The University of Oxford Botanic Garden & Harcourt Arboretum require part-time Ticket Office Staff from 1 March 2013 until 30 November 2013. The Ticket Office Staff will be responsible for admitting all visitors, including school groups on a daily basis, issuing the appropriate tickets, selling merchandise and dealing with enquiries.  They will have responsibility for till reconciliation and maintaining the merchandise, opening and closing the sites, checking visitor facilities, maintaining signs and poster boards and checking leaflet stocks. The postholders will also provide some admin support to the general office. Shifts will require weekend work and there will be occasional evening work for private and public functions.


Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment with the University will be subject to a satisfactory disclosure report from the Criminal Records Bureau.
