New interpretation at the Botanic Garden

Fri August 26th, 2016

Brand new interpretation has been installed to the Plants that Changed the World display in the Lower Garden. There are several panels to investigate and learn of the important role plants have played in the development of human civilisations across the globe. Many of the illustrations used are taken from archive material held by the University of Oxford Herbaria.

This is the first tranch of interpretation that will gradually be introduced across the collections.

The funds to produce the interpretation and develop the Plants that Changed the World display were provided by the Friends of Oxford Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum.
