Looking Good Now at the Arboretum - The Wildflower Meadows

Mon June 5th, 2017

Summer is all around at Harcourt Arboretum, and in our meadows wildflowers are standing out among the grasses like little jewels. Buttercups and daisies are easily spotted, along with common vetch (Vicia sativa), sorrel (Rumex acetosa), bird's foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), pignut (Conopodium majus), and yellow-rattle (Rhinanthus minor).

We have a wildflower information sheet for you to take with you during your walk, and a spotter trail for children!  Just ask our ticket office staff. What will you find in our meadow?
