Looking Good Now at the Arboretum - Autumn Colour and Light

Thu November 2nd, 2017

Although we are already into November, there is still so much autumn colour to enjoy at Harcourt Arboretum. The Acer Glade is awash with vivid reds and rich gold, which is being set off beautifully by the raking light of the sun. In Lime Wood the leaves create a rich yellow canopy and flutter gently to the ground, while in Bluebell wood the bracken is a rich copper.

Along Holly Walk berries are bursting bright red among the greenery.

Don't forget to visit our piglets in the Coppice!

Bring sturdy shoes or wellies with you, especially if you are planning a walk along the Serpentine Ride - some sections are getting a little muddy.

Also remember that now that we are into November both Oxford Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum will be closing at 4pm, with last admission at 3.15pm.
