Looking Good Now - at the Arboretum

Sat March 18th, 2017

The Serpentine Ride and adjoining glades are alive with colour at the moment, and buzzing with newly emerged bumblebees. Looking particularly good is our magnolia glade, with Magnolia campbellii ssp. mollicomata, Magnolia x loebneri 'Donna', Magnolia x proctoriana (which smells lovely) all in flower, and others on the way. Also looking bright and cheerful are some of our camellias and rhododendrons, including Rhododendron macabeanum, Rhododendron moupinense, and Camellia japonica 'Baronne Leguay'.

Remember to bring sensible shoes or boots for your visit!
