11am - 1pm
Lots of families came along to the garden on Wednesday 15th February to help us to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight! Children made lots of fairtrade banana snacks, handled lots of fairtrade produce, played Fairtrade Kim's game and learnt about how it feels when something is fair or not in the rice race. We had lots of help from students from the plant sciences department who taught the children about where their food comes from and how to classify different fruit and vegetables. As usual, the session was free and we are grateful for the donations that were made.
