Chemistry at the Garden Discovery Trail
The Chemistry at the Garden Discovery Trail is a collaboration between the Botanic Garden and the Department of Chemistry. The audio trail will lead you around the garden uncovering the hidden chemistry in plants. The trail is voiced by members of the Department of Chemistry as well as the Senior Curator of the Botanic Garden. You will hear the secrets of the smell of the Katsura tree, why lotus leaves are the cleanest leaves in the lily pond and find out about the hottest plant in the world.
Available between 10am and 3pm on a first come first served basis. Free with entry to the Garden. A £50 refundable deposit is required to borrow the audio pen units.
