Design a Gift CardThe Arboretum has a huge collection of trees from around the world. The variety of unusual leaves gives a great opportunity to create interesting gift cards by making leaf rubbings. Simply place a leaf inside folded A4 card or paper and rub with the side of a crayon. The pattern of the leaf will appear. Use different colours and leaves to create your own personalised gift cards. Land ArtCreate a collage or work of art on the ground with things fallen from a tree. Remember to bring your camera to record your work. To protect our plants, please remember to only use things fallen to the ground. Christmas DecorationsForget plastic - make your own NATURAL decorations. Before Christmas, search for pine cones to make your own decorations. Use spray paint, glitter and ribbons to decorate and hang them from your tree. DRAWING your attention to a treeSit in view of a tree that captures your attention. Focus for a while noticing as much as you can about it. Then start to draw, regularly looking up at the tree.
