| Some visitors come to Oxford Botanic Garden specifically to look at this part of the collection. Euphorbias are a large group of 2,000 species many of which are fine garden plants. It may come as a surprise to learn that the majority of euphorbias are not hardy in this country and some of these tender species can be seen in the Cactus House. There are more than 600 NCCPG national collections spread over Britain. Collection holders are expected to propagate and distribute the rare and endangered species in their care and in the summer you may be able to buy the rare Euphorbia stygiana from our sales area near to the Danby Arch. | | |
